Performance creates trust

Context and objectives
Vontobel Bank is a Swiss private bank with international reach, headquartered in Zurich and active since 1924. Vontobel specializes in wealth management for private and institutional clients and in investment banking and has been operating in Italy since 2003.
The PR objective is to strengthen the authoritative image of the bank, creating increasing awareness within the target groups and to help keeping solid trust through the positioning of an appropriate corporate image.

For the Asset Management Division, we defined strategy that emphasises the “Swiss” character of the bank and at the same time focuses on the proved results of Asset Management products, in order to create even more confidence by showcasing solid facts.

Focussing on corporate authoritativeness and product reliability, we used a set of PR tools that, leveraging on strategic spokesperson able to comment on various market trends and to present the main products in the asset management, can create a virtuous circle with specialised media, non specialized media and final audiences. The communication strategy extended the area of action to lifestyle areas with the recent launch of the Vontobel for Arts initiative.

Through our PR work, Vontobel reaches its target audiences with the publication of about 40 articles per month across different kind of media.
