“Fishing for litter” with Ogyre on ItaliaUno TV channel

On 20 June, Now!PR allowed a crew from Studio Aperto to touch the phenomenon of “fishing for litter”, i.e. the collection of waste from the sea through the work of fishermen. In practice, all the waste that gets trapped in the nets, or accidentally caught, is sorted in special containers on board the fishing boats and delivered ashore to the partners who will then take care of delivering the materials to the various collection centers and, when possible, recycle them .

A pioneer of this activity in Italy is Ogyre, a young startup founded by Antonio Augeri and Andrea Faldella in 2021 which set up the first global platform for the recovery of waste from the sea by collecting it through the work of fishermen in Italy, Brazil and Indonesia.
